What is Radon Testing?

Testing for radon in your home is recommended by the Minnesota Department of Health and should be done every 2-5 years. Testing should be done after making changes to your home such as an addition or finishing the basement. Our technicians are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health to test your home for radon and use top-of-the-line testing equipment to properly measure radon levels.

Soil is the main source of radon entering your home
Radon enters your home several different ways. This can include cracks in concrete slabs, cracks in wall joints, open sump pump baskets and crawlspaces.
Differences in air pressure in the home and the soil can pull radon in through the different pathways.
